Having graduated from Plymouth University with a degree in International Business, Nick then spent 3 years in Executive recruitment. In 2002 he decided to move into the Financial Services industry and gained his core industry qualifications whilst working for a small IFA firm, before joining the Openwork Network.
Nick joined St. James's Place Wealth Management in September 2007 in order to provide clients with the wealth management proposition they are able to offer. Nick provides successful professionals and business owners a personal financial planning service based on trust and a complete understanding of their financial situation and objectives. He helps his clients, who tend to have extremely demanding careers and lifestyles, and therefore limited time to effectively manage their personal finances, to achieve their personal and financial goals.
Nick is married with 3 children. His main sporting passion is cricket; he is an active player/coach and committee member of Penn & Tylers Green Cricket Club. He also enjoys rugby and golf. When time permits, Nick enjoys cooking and eating out.
Julie joined St. James’s Place Wealth Management in July 2008 as a PA providing full administrative support to Nick and two other advisers. She now works solely for Nick helping to ensure that the company operates efficiently on a day to day basis whilst providing a high level of service to our clients at all times.
Julie has a broad range of financial services knowledge and is currently undertaking the St. James’s Place Accreditation.
Married with two sons. She enjoys swimming and spending quality time with her sons going for walks in the woods.
Having graduated from Brighton University with a degree in Sport Journalism, Sam took a career break to go travelling around the world. On his return, he decided to look to build a career in finance and joined St. James's Place Wealth Management in May 2011.
He quickly acquired his industry qualifications and now holds the Chartered Financial Planner qualification. Sam aims to build long term relationships with his clients and feels the St. James’s Place proposition enables him to provide the holistic advice needed to help meet their short and long term personal and financial objectives. Sam offers sound advice to his clients and builds a professional relationship based on trust and understanding by building effective strategies covering protection, investment planning, tax planning, pension planning and inheritance tax.
Sam currently lives with his partner Rachael. He enjoys all sports, both watching and playing, and is a keen golfer. In his spare time he also enjoys trips to the cinema and travelling to as many places as possible.
Dawn left college and joined the financial services industry in 1986. Having enjoyed a wide variety of roles in the industry, she first joined St. James’s Place in 2006.
In 2014, Dawn achieved the Diploma in Financial Planning and recently rejoined St. James’s Place providing paraplanning and technical support to Nick and his team at Argent.
Dawn is married with 2 adult children and has her hands full with 2 very playful Labradors. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, rugby union, travelling and spending time with her family and friends.
